Allen-Bradley 1746-IB32 is a high-reliability digital DC input module under Rockwell Automation’s SLC 500 product line, specifically engineered for industrial automation PLC systems.
It features 32 channels of DC sinking inputs, supporting an operating voltage range of 15-30V DC at 50°C and 15-26.4V DC at 60°C, with a nominal input voltage of 24V DC,
making it ideal for connecting field devices such as buttons, sensors, and switches. Each channel is equipped with LED status indicators for quick fault diagnosis and maintenance,
and the module adopts an 8-point per common design (4 groups of commons) for flexible wiring. It has a backplane current consumption of 50-103mA at 5V DC, signal delay of 3ms
for both on-off transitions, and off-state current of 1mA, ensuring stable and accurate signal acquisition. The module offers 1500V AC isolation between the backplane and I/O,
and 500V DC isolation for communication circuits, with a shock rating of 30g, enabling reliable operation in harsh industrial environments. This module is discontinued by
the manufacturer, with the discontinuation date set on November 24, 2022. Currently, the market supply is limited to new old stock, refurbished, and used units. It is fully
compatible with all SLC 500 processors, can be installed in local or remote I/O chassis (except slot 1 reserved for the controller), and supports connection with 1746-HT and 1746-HCA I/O
