later acquired by GE Fanuc and now belonging to Abaco product line. Built on Intel 815E chipset and Pentium III processor architecture, it acts as the master central processor for VME
rack-based real-time control systems, undertaking real-time logic operation, field I/O data acquisition, VME bus arbitration scheduling, multi-channel network communication,
local storage management and closed-loop control algorithm execution.
Equipped with a transparent PCI-to-VME bridge circuit, this board can be configured as either VME system master controller or secondary slave CPU to build multi-processor distributed
