· Key Installation & Wiring Specifications
· To guarantee reliable performance and compliance with industrial safety standards, the module must adhere to the following installation and wiring requirements:
Mounting Requirement: It shall be installed inside a dedicated control enclosure using a universal terminal block or a system-matched terminal board. This installation
method not only secures the module firmly but also isolates it from external dust, moisture, and electromagnetic interference, safeguarding long-term operational
stability.
· Use shielded cables to connect the terminal board to each input circuit on the module’s terminal block. This prevents signal distortion caused by external
electromagnetic noise.
· Attach the shield layer of each cable to the metal panel adjacent to the terminal board (do not connect the shield at the module end). At the module end of the cable,
cut the shield layer cleanly and insulate the cut end with heat shrink tubing to avoid short circuits.
· For connections between field devices and the terminal board, shielded cables are also mandatory. Ground the shield layer exclusively at the field device end; at
the terminal board end, cut the shield and insulate it with heat shrink tubing as well.
· Lead Length Constraint: Minimize the length of exposed (unshielded) leads at both the terminal board and field device ends. Shortening unshielded leads reduces
the risk of signal interference and ensures accurate transmission of control signals.
