Product Description

MVI56-PDPS is a single-slot protocol gateway module developed by ProSoft Technology (Emerson brand) exclusively for Rockwell ControlLogix 1756 PLC systems.

It acts as a PROFIBUS DP slave device, allowing ControlLogix CPU to exchange real-time data with third-party PROFIBUS DP master controllers, drives and remote I/O stations. 

Compliant with DP-V0 / DP-V1 standards, it supports auto baud rate detection, user-customizable data mapping and built-in communication fault handling logic. Equipped with DB9 PROFIBUS 

port and debug serial port, galvanic isolation between backplane and field bus, conformal coated PCB, widely used as replacement spare for automotive, chemical, power and water 

treatment mixed-brand automation retrofitting projects.
