Product Description

NBRA-669C is a high-power braking chopper specially developed by ABB for 690V AC drive platform, perfectly matching ACS800 series R8 frame frequency converters. It consumes 

regenerative energy generated by motors during rapid deceleration, lifting and lowering through external braking resistors, effectively avoiding DC bus overvoltage fault tripping of inverters.

The module adopts intelligent voltage threshold detection logic, automatically switching on the braking loop when the DC bus voltage exceeds the set value. Equipped with built-in overheat, 

overcurrent and short-circuit protection, it outputs fault relay signals for upper system alarm interlock. It supports multi-module parallel expansion to meet large inertia load braking demands, 

widely used as maintenance spare parts for port cranes, mine hoists, metallurgical rolling mills and heavy-duty conveyor equipment.
