A6500-UM is a dual-channel plug-in universal measurement card developed by Emerson Bently Nevada, serving as the core signal acquisition module of the AMS 6500 ATG turbomachinery
protection platform and fully complying with API 670 international heavy-duty rotating equipment safety standardsEmerson.
It adopts compact 3U single-slot structure, saving 50% cabinet space compared with traditional 6U four-channel monitoring cards. The module supports multi-type sensor access including eddy
current displacement probes, piezoelectric accelerometers, seismic velocity sensors, low-frequency vibration sensors and LVDT displacement transmitters matched with A6500-LC adapter.
It collects key operating parameters such as shaft relative vibration, absolute casing vibration, axial thrust displacement, rotor eccentricity and casing thermal expansion for critical rotating units.
Embedded PeakVue bearing fault diagnosis algorithm realizes early warning of rolling element fatigue and mechanical hidden trouble. Equipped with isolated 4–20mA analog retransmission output,
5-channel digital input and 6-channel solid-state relay alarm trip output, data is uploaded to upper DCS and monitoring host via internal RS485 bus and A6500-CC communication card with Modbus
RTU/TCP protocol conversion. It supports online hot-swap replacement, remote trip bypass and threshold doubling function, with full self-diagnosis for power supply, hardware circuit and sensor
