Woodward SPM-D11 8440-1706 is a synchronous device based on microprocessor control technology.

Applicable scenarios: Suitable for single-phase or three-phase AC generators equipped with Woodward or other compatible speed control and automatic voltage regulators.

Synchronization function: Provides automatic control functions such as frequency, phase angle, and voltage matching, which can achieve phase matching or slip frequency 

synchronization to synchronize the generator and bus.

Load control: equipped with 1-channel circuit breaker control, automatic load distribution, and power factor control functions. Supports active power and power factor control, 

with two analog load sharing lines for active and reactive power load sharing, and can also externally control the analog input of active power setpoint.

Protection functions: including generator protection, covering single-phase current induction, two-phase voltage mutual induction, generator overvoltage/undervoltage (59/27), generator overvoltage/underfrequency (818/U), generator reverse power/lower limit power (32R/F), generator overload (32) and other protection functions.

Other functions: Equipped with power root mean square calculation function; Selectable operating modes (run, check, allow, and prohibit); Support single machine operation, 

no voltage bus operation, etc.

Measurement input: typically 100Vac/ 5A (there are other measurement input specifications such as 8440-1708 for 100Vac,./1A, etc.).

Control output: The standard version controls speed/load, voltage/power factor by increasing/decreasing the switch value. It can provide analog or switch output bias signals. 

Analog output such as speed bias can be set to various ranges such as ± 2.5 VDC, 0.5-4.5 VDC, 1-5 V, etc. It can also be set to 500Hz/PWM output; The voltage level is adjustable.

Display: Integrated LCD display, two rows of LCD display can display operating parameters and alarm information, can display generator and bus parameters, with synchronous calibrator display, control and circuit breaker status display.

Communication: Supports PC and front panel configuration, can be configured through dedicated cables and software (DPC) via PC, supports English and German.

Power supply: The power supply is usually 12/24VDC. The switch input is 18-250Vac/dc.
