GE VMIVME-7750-834 (alternate part number 350-027750-834D) is a ruggedized variant of the VMIVME-7750 series originally developed by VMIC, later acquired by GE Fanuc
and now part of Abaco Systems product line. It adopts Intel 815E chipset paired with Pentium III processor architecture, functioning as the primary master CPU for VME rack-based real-time
control systems. It undertakes real-time logic computation, field I/O data acquisition, VME bus arbitration, multi-channel network communication scheduling, local storage management
and closed-loop control algorithm execution.
Equipped with a transparent PCI-to-VME bridge circuit, this board can be configured as either VME system master controller or secondary slave processor for multi-CPU rack architectures.
It integrates abundant native peripheral interfaces and one PMC mezzanine expansion slot for customized function expansion, compatible with mainstream embedded operating systems including
VxWorks, Embedded Linux, QNX and Windows NT Embedded. Widely deployed on GE Speedtronic Mark VI turbine control platforms, nuclear power safety instrumentation systems,
