built around Intel 815E chipset and Pentium III processor architecture. It acts as the primary master controller for VME rack-based real-time control systems, undertaking real-time
logic computation, field I/O data acquisition, VME bus arbitration, multi-channel network communication, storage management and closed-loop control algorithm execution.
Equipped with a transparent PCI-to-VME bridge chip, this board can be configured as either VME system controller or secondary slave CPU in multi-processor rack architectures.
