Product Overview

The IS200EDEXG1BBB is an Exciter De-Excitation Control Board (EDEX) developed by GE for the Speedtronic Mark VI and EX2100 / EX2100e 

excitation control system. It is a critical protection board for synchronous generators. When emergency shutdown occurs and the field breaker opens, this module safely 

dissipates the stored energy from the generator field winding to avoid overvoltage damage to the generator and excitation equipment. It cooperates with EXTB and EMIO 

boards to complete coordinated de-excitation logic, supports SCR firing control, conduction sensing feedback and voltage retention function, and can still work reliably 

under power failure conditions.
