Motorola MVME162-213 is a classic double-height VME single-board computer originally developed by Motorola Embedded Division, later inherited by Emerson Embedded Systems.
It serves as the master CPU controller for legacy VME rack-based industrial control systems, executing real-time logic calculation, field I/O data acquisition, VME bus arbitration,
peripheral communication scheduling and closed-loop control algorithm operation.
This board adopts Motorola MC68040 / MC68LC040 32-bit microprocessor architecture, equipped with parity-protected DRAM, battery-backed SRAM and TOD real-time clock to
prevent configuration data loss after power failure. Integrated abundant serial, Ethernet and SCSI peripheral interfaces, it supports IndustryPack expansion modules for flexible function
