ABB SYN5202-0271 belongs to ABB SYNCHROTACT 5 fifth-generation high-precision synchronization product series, a dual-channel independent hardware &
software automatic paralleling controller specially developed for power system grid connection. It continuously collects voltage, frequency and phase angle signals from
generator side and power grid side, automatically calculates synchronization deviation, regulates governor and excitation system to eliminate difference values, and sends
closing command to circuit breaker only when all paralleling conditions are fully satisfied.
Adopting dual redundant channel design, two completely independent operation loops execute synchronization judgment simultaneously to prevent dangerous non-synchronous closing
action caused by single-point fault, effectively avoiding grid impact, generator shock, transformer damage and system oscillation risks. It supports multi-group parameter configuration for
different switchgear paralleling requirements, can work as automatic synchronization master unit or manual paralleling monitoring interlock device, and serves as core maintenance
