Product Description

SPNPM22 is a high-performance Profibus DP bus communication expansion module under ABB SPNPM series, mainly matched with AC 800M (PM891/PEC985) controller and also compatible 

with Symphony Plus Harmony rack DCS system.

It acts as protocol bridge to realize bidirectional data conversion between the controller internal Peer bus and external Profibus DP fieldbus, connecting remote S800 I/O stations, frequency converters, 

intelligent instruments, soft starters and third-party DP slave devices. It supports A/B dual-channel bus redundant hot backup, DP-V1 acyclic data access and isochronous real-time communication, 

with full galvanic isolation between backplane and field bus, conformal coated PCB, online hot-swap without system shutdown. Widely used as replacement spare for power plant, petrochemical, 

pulp & paper, metallurgy large-scale DCS distributed control systems.
