CI546 with material number 3BSE012545R1 is a dedicated rack-mounted communication interface card for ABB classic Advant OCS distributed control system, matched with AC450 

Advant Controller mainframe.

It serves as the bridge between the controller backplane and the MasterBus 300 field bus, realizes high-speed data interaction between the main CPU, remote S100 I/O racks, operator stations 

and other control nodes. Equipped with DB9 serial bus interface, on-board bus protocol processing chip, full galvanic isolation between backplane and field bus, conformal coated PCB board. 

The model has been officially discontinued by ABB, it is a core scarce replacement spare for power plants, pulp & paper mills, metallurgy legacy ABB DCS central control rooms.
