· GE VMIVME-3113A is a scanning 12 bit analog-to-digital converter board designed to support up to 64 channels of differential or single ended wide range analog inputs
with an input range of ± 10mV to ± 10V. It has built-in testing capabilities and can support real-time and offline testing.
· Input/output characteristics: 64 differential or single ended input channels. The selectable A/D range includes 0 to+10V, ± 5V, and ± 10V. The input impedance is 5 × 106 Ω
and it has overvoltage protection input function.
· Scanning and Storage: Automatically enters automatic scanning mode after power on, without software initialization. Continuously digitize the input channel and store the
results in a dedicated channel dual port register. The dual port register allows access to VMEbus at any time and reads the latest stored data.
· Conversion function: The A/D conversion time is 15 μ s and the conversion rate is 33kHz. Supports multiple low-pass filters to improve high-frequency suppression
characteristics.
· Gain and code selection: A programmable gain amplifier with jumper options, with gain ranges of 1, 10, 100, 200, and 500. The optional output code includes binary,
offset binary, and signed extended binary multiplication.
· Working modes: including automatic scanning mode (gain=1), random polling mode, random interrupt mode, scan polling mode, scan interrupt mode, and test mode.
The VMEbus interrupt can be set to trigger when a single A/D conversion is completed or when a 2 to 64 channel scan is completed. The user programmable interval timer
supports scanning all channels at periodic intervals.
